1. Tabling is a benefit available to registered SOD student groups. Student groups may not request a table on behalf of an individual, group, business, or organization not registered with the SOD Office of Student Affairs.
2. Tabling in the School of Dentistry is limited to the following locations: Ground Floor and 5th Floor Atrium. Outdoor tabling is not permitted.
3. Reservations must be made through the Office of Student Affairs at least two (2) weeks in advance. Visit Event Planning 101 for more information.
4. A representative of the student group must staff the table at all times during the reservation period.
5. Banners, flyers, and signs may not be affixed to the building, walls, furniture, ground, benches, or railings. Display signs only on or directly at the table. Document stands and/or painter's tape are recommended.
6. Group representative (s) and displays must stay behind or directly next to the table and not block walkways, doors, or the flow of traffic.
7. Student groups will use the tables already available on the Ground Floor and 5th Floor Atrium.
8. Amplified sound during tabling events is not permitted during the hours of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
9. Food Sales and/or Distribution: Any food or drink sales or giveaways must comply with local health and safety rules, usually requiring prepackaged items, ingredient labels, and gloves for food handlers.
10. Clean-up: Groups must pack up all trash and clean up any debris, leftover handouts, and personal items by the end of the reserved time slot.
Groups interested in tabling in other buildings and campus spaces outside of the SOD should refer to policies governed by the school and/or University.
