March 2024

A Note from the Member-At-Large

Dear UMB Staff,

As spring approaches and we walk around campus during this vibrant season, let's take a moment to contemplate our roles within the UMB community. As dedicated staff members, it is imperative to recognize our responsibility to foster a culture of support and compassion not only within our immediate community but also amongst our neighbors. The Staff Senate Community Outreach Committee remains committed to championing initiatives that foster meaningful connections with our neighbors. I urge all staff members to actively engage with the Community Engagement Center and contribute to the efforts they undertake.

As your Member-At-Large, I am here to offer my unwavering support as you juggle the demands of work, prioritize your health and safety, and nurture your overall well-being as an integral part of the UMB family. Let's embark on this new season with a shared commitment to uplift and support one another, within our campus borders and beyond.

Sincerely,

Taylor DeBoer
UMB Staff Senate Member-At-Large
