A Note from the Staff Senate President
Dear UMB Staff & Friends,
I hope this message finds you well as we embark on a new semester. The buzz of potential fills the air with each new school year. This energy is palpable at UMB, with our unique mission to improve lives in Baltimore and beyond through education, research, clinical care, and community service.
I encourage all of us to reflect deeply on UMB's core values of respect, integrity, innovation, discovery, sustainability, well-being, equity, and justice. We have the opportunity to model these values outward into the city through our research, clinical care, education, and service programs in a way that will impact our students, our West Baltimore community, and each other. I challenge us to consider how we can deepen our positive impact in Baltimore this semester. As we engage with students, faculty, staff, and partners, let's lead with our values.
Also, please remember that the Staff Senate is here to advocate on your behalf. If you need support, feel free to reach out; we are here to assist you. I look forward to collaborating with all of you as we continue to serve our community and have our values shine bright.
Sincerely,
Aaron Graham, JD
UMB Staff Senate President
Community Outreach Co-Chair
