Each year on December 1, World AIDS Day serves as a time to remember those lost to HIV/AIDS, support those living with HIV, and raise awareness about ongoing efforts to end the epidemic. UMB students are invited to join community partners in Baltimore for volunteer opportunities that promote health equity, education, remembrance, and community engagement.

Volunteers may assist with event logistics, registration, guest support, resource distribution, set-up and clean-up, and other activities that help create welcoming and impactful experiences for attendees. These opportunities provide a chance to connect with community organizations, public health professionals, advocates, and residents while contributing to meaningful events that honor the resilience and strength of individuals and communities affected by HIV/AIDS.

Whether you are interested in public health, social justice, community engagement, healthcare, or service, World AIDS Day volunteer opportunities offer a meaningful way to make a difference and support Baltimore's ongoing efforts to advance awareness, compassion, and access to care.

Volunteer opportunities are open to students from all disciplines. Service hours may be available for participating students.
