This interactive session introduces students to the principles and practices of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), a transformative approach developed by psychologist Marshall B. Rosenberg. NVC, also known as the “language of life,” introduces individuals to the practice of communicating with empathy, authenticity, and clarity. Through guided activities, reflection, and peer practice, students will explore how compassionate communication can strengthen relationships, resolve conflicts, and foster a culture of respect and understanding within the UMB community and beyond.
Whether you're navigating academic stress, group projects, or personal relationships, this session offers practical tools to express yourself honestly while listening deeply to others.
