UMB students are invited to join the OCCE’s monthly community dinner in a new initiative centered on listening, connection, and shared storytelling.

Around the Table brings together students and community members for authentic conversation during the CEC’s 5:00–6:30 PM dinner. Students participate as guests and neighbors; engaging in meaningful dialogue, learning about the surrounding community, and honoring lived experience as knowledge.

The program includes a pre-dinner orientation and post-dinner reflection session to ensure engagement is thoughtful, reciprocal, and non-extractive.

Interested students can apply to participate in this cohort-based experience focused on building relationships and practicing community-centered listening.
