Join James Wright of the UMB Writing Center for a workshop about strategies for writing that will serve you academically, professionally, and beyond. This is not your typical writing workshop. In this session, you will read and analyze reputable models of representative writing from genres across the disciplines to identify common writing practices of expert writers. Specifically, we will focus on choice-making strategies of expert writers from across the disciplines. Each participant will take away adaptable approaches for making similar choices in their own writing to engage more critically and confidently with writing in their field.

This workshop is open to all students as part of the President's Student Leadership Institute program and in partnership with the Writing Center.
