Details

Community Dinner is a quarterly event run by the Office of Community and Civic Engagement, and is an opportunity for community members and UMB students, faculty, and staff to sit down and enjoy a meal together from a local restaurant while learning more about opportunities offered by the Office of Community and Civic Engagement, University of Maryland BioPark, and other local partners.

Volunteers are needed to assist with setup, food service, greeting, sign-in, and cleanup after the meal. The time commitment is 2.5 hours. Please note that, due to capacity limits, this opportunity is limited to individual sign-ups. Large student, staff, and community groups interested in volunteering should contact the OCCE directly to learn more about group opportunities.
