Volunteer for the Community Engagement Center's 10th Anniversary Celebration

The Office of Community and Civic Engagement is hosting a community celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the UMB Community Engagement Center (CEC)! This milestone event will bring together neighbors, partners, and the UMB community for an evening of connection and celebration. Volunteers play a key role in making this event welcoming and well-organized.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
• Greet and direct attendees to event spaces throughout the building
• Assist with attendee sign-in and registration
• Distribute giveaways and thank-you gifts at the conclusion of the event
• Support smooth event operations, including clearing plates, cups, and maintaining a tidy space
• Assist with general setup and breakdown tasks (wiping tables, moving supplies, etc.)

Details:
• Wear comfortable shoes, volunteers will be given a UMB OCCE t-shirt to wear for the event (pending availability).
• Light fare food and drink from the event will be provided to volunteers
